20 SYC boats converged on Arabella's Landing for the Opening Day Weekend Festivities...

On Saturday morning Sue and Rob prepared a freshly cooked breakfast to order.  It was delicious...

Lizzy made a rare appearance...                                                     Breakfast was enjoyed by all...

Freshly made croissants.........    Mmmmm.  They were good!

    Members took their dinghies to The Tides Tavern for lunch...              Afterwards the dinghies gathered for a parade through the harbor...

Jeni, Christy, Commodore Diana, and Sue take a walk through Downtown Gig Harbor...

Commodore Diana christened DC and Ramona's new boat, Varekei...

Commodore Diana borrows from our Immediate Past Commodore's Ceremonies...... "To the sea! To the sailors of old!"

A good sized crowd toasts to the safety of Varekai and her crew....

                                    Some enjoyed the christening from Ken's and Judene's boat...    Then Commodore Diana announced an event up at the Net Shed...
